Lucy McFarlane

It is with the deepest sadness that we have to announce the death of Lucy McFarlane, following a long illness. Lucy was a warrior; tough, brave, intelligent, and fiercely protective of her beloved bridleways. Our workparties will never be the same again. We were all the richer for having known Lucy, and all the poorer for her passing. She was instrumental in saving and protecting many of our precious equine routes, and for that, we will forever be indebted. Those who were fortunate enough to count Lucy as their friend were blessed indeed.
