New Circular Permissive Route Acton Scott
With huge thanks to Acton Scott estate, the LMDBA welcomes a permissive bridleway which creates a new circular horse riding route around the Acton Scott estate.
At the request of the estate the Church Stretton P3 (Parish paths Partnership) volunteer group have replaced a stile with a bridleway gate to enable the permissive route which links the bridleways in Hatton Wood and the one that connects to Henley lane. See map below, marked in orange to show the permissive route.
Note – this ride may is unsuitable in wet conditions due to the ford, and heavy clay in the fields approaching the stream. There are also two gates which require dismounting to open and close.
