New Circular Permissive Route Acton Scott

Subject to final agreement with Natural England, the Acton Scott estate is opening a new permissive bridleway (highlighted orange) creating a 2.5 mile circular route.

At the request of the estate the Church Stretton P3 (Parish paths Partnership) volunteer group have replaced a stile with a bridleway gate to enable the permissive route which links the bridleways in Hatton Wood and the one that connects to Henley Lane.

Note – this ride may be unsuitable in wet conditions due to the ford, and heavy clay in the fields approaching the stream. Two farm gates across the right of way require the rider to dismount and are scheduled for improvement.
